Description

Cow & Gate Instant Carobel is a natural thickener used for infant vomiting, for posseting (spitting up small amounts of milk) when no cause is known, and for recurring vomiting. This product is very versatile and can be added directly to a bottle-fed baby’s feed or can be given from a spoon as a thick gel. It is suitable for full term infants, children and adults. For breastfed babies it can be given from a spoon as a thick gel before and during feeds.

Cow & Gate Instant Carobel is a food for special medical purposes.

How to Use

For bottlefeed babies:

Prepare the infant milk to the manufacturer's guidelines.

Add instant carobel as indicated by feeding guideline.

Shake well for 30-60 seconds.

Leave for 3-4 minutes to thicken.

Shake again and feed immediately.

Do not heat in microwave. Hot spots may occur and cause scalding.

As spoonfeed or paste:

This method is appropriate for breastfed infants and may be the preferred method for bottle-fed infants. It is also suitable for first weaning foods that have too liquid a consistency and for older children and adults.

Add Carobel, as indicated in the feeding guide.

Stir well and leave for 3-4 minutes to thicken.

Stir again and feed immediately, by spoon, prior to and during the feed or meal.
