NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN 60G SUPPOSITORIES 10's

Nurofen Suppositories 60mg are suitable for babies and children from 3 months to 2 years old. The suppository dissolves when it reaches body temperature and brings about rapid absorption of Ibuprofen. This quickly reduces fever and pain from teething, earache, sore throats, headaches, sprains and strains and cold and flu symptoms.

For rectal use only.

Remove one suppository from the wrapper and insert into the back passage.

3-9 months: One suppository inserted every 6-8 hours, no more than 3 per day.

9 months-2 years: One suppository to be inserted every 6 hours, no more than 4 per day.

Not to be given to children weighing under 6kg. If child is between 3 and 5 months and symptoms worsen or persist for 24 hours, consult a doctor. If child is over 6 months and symptoms worsen or persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.

Do not give if your child has or ever had a stomach ulcer or stomach disorder, or if your child experiences a worsening of asthma or allergy symptoms as a result of taking this medicine or a similar medicine called non-steroidal anti-inflammatories. OTC
