Anusol HC Ointment will help alleviate the pain, swelling, itch and discomfort of internal piles or haemorrhoids, and other related conditions e.g. anal itching, anal inflammation and anal fissures.
Adults over 18: Apply sparingly, morning and night, to a gauze dressing and place over the affected area, use after a bowel movement to a maximum of 4 applications in 24 hours.
For internal haemorrhoids, use the rectal nozzle provided, and after you have cleaned and dried the area with soft towel, insert the nozzle into the back passage (rectum) and squeeze gently.

Some things to include are high fibre options like brown rice, wholemeal bread and wholewheat pasta, fresh fruit and vegetables, salads and increase your water intake. Things to cut back on or avoid are excess salty, sugary or fatty foods that dehydrate you and slow down your digestion, reduce tea, coffee and alcohol intake.
