How to Use

Due to their special formulation Nutramigen LGG 1&2 smell and taste different to routine formulas.

The following tips will help your baby to get used to the new taste:

If you need to supplement your breastfeeds with Nutramigen Lgg- try to express some breast milk and mix it 50:50 with freshly prepared Nutramigen LGG. Your dietician can give you more advice about this.

Try to be positive during feeding times- even if you don’t like the smell. Babies often respond to parents’ reactions! Remember your sense of taste and smell is different from your baby’s which is not so well developed at this age.

Older children may prefer to take the formula from a covered cup. They may also prefer to have the formula as a cold drink.

Ask your dietician for advice regarding weaning your baby and for milk free recipes. Babies fed Nutramigen LGG may produce frequent loose stools of a greenish colour – this is quite normal.
Wash hands thoroughly. Clean bottles, teats, caps and utensils in water.

Boil fresh water, leave to cool for 30 minutes prior to mixing.

Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle.

Add required number of level scoops of powder - see feeding guidelines.
